Ooh boy,am I bored.Yesterday both eHaley & eStryker got totaled. They went missing from my shelf and I could only find parts of them. Now I have to buy the both of them and start from scratch again. This time round I'll play around with their colour scheme a bit more. Those photos I posted of them recently are the standard I plan to surpass.
But the good news is,I've finished painting my Long Gunners. All 12 of them.Being trooper models and being sick and tired of painting the same thing 12 times,I didn't speed paint them or paint them assembly line style(but one by one) and I focused mostly on their faces(making the unit a mixture of light and dark skin tones and different hair colours),and the layering on their cloaks(previously when I painted them I had no idea what layering was).
Plus I've just finished painting another warcaster yesterday - Markus Siege Brisbane.Photos coming soon.It took me the whole day to paint him but now I have something to distract me from the lack of not being able to field eStryker & eHaley(some of my favourite warcasters).Right now I'm looking at photos of Storm Lances for reference and I might just start painting mine just to see how the studio colour scheme will turn out.And also to proxy one of them as Major Katherine Laddermore.
Also,my MK2 cards are on a plane somewhere heading towards me right now so pretty soon I'll be doing blog entries about my games.Do stay tuned!!!

Major Victoria Haley

So sorry for the delay in posting this.A challenging model right from the start.Plenty of mold lines, some miscast sections. As you can see,I've replaced one of the tubes linking the body to the right hand with something else. This was because of a miscast.
Other than that, this is my first attempt at blending.I sure felt ambitious before I started painting but halfway through I started wondering why I even bought this model XD.It was tedious. It looks like the shadows are not as well defined as desired.Perhaps I've should have used a darker colour for that.Something to keep in mind the next time I blend again. Also, the base colour is a mixture of VGC Khaki and P3 Morrow White.
As for the slate base I made it from scratch. After all,an epic warcaster deserves an epic base.
